Sauces
 
Some might agree the sauce is everything. Here are some of my favorite sauces. Most take only a few minutes to make. They can be used in a variety of ways that can add zest and delight to a relatively quick dinner. I will be adding meal ideas.
 
Substitute Splenda for sugar with no problem. Use butter alternatives, okay. Use a garlic press, almost a must. Better than a ginger file, mince it then pound it in a mortar and pestle Adjust things like garlic and ginger to suit your taste.
 
These sauces, other than the galce de viande, are suitable for vegetarian dishes.
 
Glace de Viande (jellied stock): Have at the ready instant homemade stock
Paprikas Sauce: Not just for chicken
Teriyaki Sauce: versatile and delicious
Chow Mein Sauce: Simple, light, and flavorful
Spaghetti Sauce: This is a basic and easy sauce
Peanut Sauce: for pasta, vegetables, and chicken.
